ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Maryam Moghice, born in 1988 in Iran, is a celebrated textile artist and jewelry designer known for blending traditional Middle Eastern embroidery techniques with contemporary design. In 2008, she founded “Mim Accessories,” a brand showcasing Baluchi, Turkmen, Turkish, and Afghan embroidery to global audiences.
With 15 years of experience, Maryam became the first designer in Iran to transform the embroidery heritage of diverse tribes into contemporary jewelry, creating a turning point for these crafts.
Her innovative designs introduced traditional embroidery, previously unused in modern fashion, to urban style, inspiring hundreds of women in Iran to start small businesses. Today, embroidered jewelry has become a widely practiced craftsmanship in Iran, thanks to her trailblazing vision.
Her expertise in social media, marketing, graphic design, and photography played a key role in Mim Accessories growth and international recognition. Collaborating with 70 women artisans, she fosters sustainable livelihoods while celebrating cultural heritage.
Currently, Maryam is expanding into international embroidery techniques, particularly French craftsmanship, to blend global traditions with her distinct designs. Through her work, she empowers artisans and bridges heritage crafts with modern fashion.

Maryam Moghice’s artistic journey began with her studies in graphic design at Tehran University, during which she also dedicated herself to painting, exploring form, space and colors. Driven by a passion for sustainable handcrafts, she transitioned into jewelry, experimenting with diverse materials to treat each piece as sculptural art.
Her innovative approach led her to work with embroidery, allowing her to merge artistry with purpose through collaborations with women artisans across the Middle East. Today, her designs capture both cultural heritage and modern expression, combining beauty with social impact.
